I'm currently working on an irritating problem with a 1995 Ranger (4.0L V6). It seems that whenever it gets warm/hot, I can expect the truck to have trouble starting - meaning it will turn over, but no ignition. Actually when this happens it doesn't start until things cool down. The truck has never died while on the road. I've taken it to my mechanic a couple of times but each time I do, he apparently lets it cool down before trying to start it and is works just fine. I've replaced the coil on a gamble, but no luck. Any wisdom on this from anyone?

try and cycle the fuel pump aka.... turn the key on and off 3-4 times and let the pump prime each time. try to start. fuel line could be leaking off? cheap try? also try hold halfway in on the pedal when you start, air sensor start motor could be bad? another cheap try.... good luck
