Have a 97 F250 exhaust manifold, want to remove the flare fitting feeding the exhaust check valve tube which is rusted quite bad and won't budge. Have a torch and was wondering the best method of heat removal. Heat the manifold to expand? Or heat the fitting. The manifold is cast and the fitting is steel, correct? Two different material characteristics. Thanks in advance for any info
