My battery light on my 01 Ford Ranger has come on. We changed the alternator and the light is still on and the battery loses power. When asked if we should change the battery we were told if it was the battery then it would pull more power from the alternator and since that is not happening the message from the battery to the alternator is not occuring. Any ideas?
