so il make this as short as i can. Bout my first offroading viacole with my father but his a diehard jeep typ so, i canda lost the fight and endedup with a dam yj. anyway....I foud a pair of axles from a 1968 f250 to swapout with the stock dana30 35 setup. just wondering if the dana44 and 9inch of that year are worth rebuilding. if not then what years of axles from ford shoud i be looking out for?

What is your main objective? mild off roading or mountain climbing? Have you thought about adding a rear locker since most climbing is done with rear, and add posi in the front for more traction or pull. The 44 and the 9" should bolt up, you may need to relocate the spring mounts and make sure everything is lined up as they maybe wider coming off the ford. Just giving you some different options and maybe save you some work and money!
