It would be nice but who has $150,000.00 to spend on a car. If I had it I would but I dont so I cant.

That is the original GT-40, the new one is the GT.
The reason Ford didn't name it the GT-40 is because the new one is 44" tall, the GT-40 was 40" tall. Calling it the GT-44 just sounds bad.
That is a sweet looking car though.

Also about the name on the gt. the Reason that ford didnt name it the GT-40 again is not only the height of the car but some little parts shop owns the rights to the GT-40 name and want something like 40 million for it so ford said no.
