Im in the middle of ripping out teh carpet and putting down Hurculiner, My aunt told me that you cant weld near that crap or it will go up in flames. Anyone notice a problem that a glass of water wouldnt fix?

Inever welded around it but it would be like getting paint hot it will flame up. I would just clean up the area you are going to weld then redo it just like you would with paint.
