i'm looking at a 91 Bronco XLT on ebay with a 351 in it. and i'm wondring if theres a way to tell if it's an AOD or an E4OD?
i'd rather not find out it's an AOD by dismantling the truck

The E4DO has the push button overdrive on the dash & the AOD has the overdrive on the shifter.

A 1991 should have the E4OD. If you have a pic of the tranny, the pan on the AOD is square, while the E4OD is notched on one corner just like the C-6.
1984 Bronco XLT, 351W H.O., C-6 AT, Ford 9", SkyJ 6" lift, 35" tires on MT Classic rims, S&W Racecars 10-pt cage kit, custom "shaker" assembly.
1988 Bronco Custom, 302 EFI, C-6 AT, Ford 8.8". parting out
