ON a 1982 30 4.9l, where or what type of ac compressor is it? i need a new one and JBG isnt being helpful. The other plce i am looking at they have 2 fdifferent i.d. #'s. can any one help me out.

there should be a tag on the compressor some where that has that id. you should be able to still get that compressor at you local parts house. hope this helps!

Try www.jedi.com/obiwan/jeep/yorkair.html, I have an 82 F100 which came with the York compressor and since yours is of the same vintage there is a good chance you will find it in this website
