1.) I have my stereo installed, but I'm still working on building a box for my JBL W10GTi.

2.) I painted my grill with Dupli-Color's charcoal wheel paint. I love the stuff...

3.) I'm currently trying to paint my roof liner.

4.) I want to paint the top, but I'll probably wait for a time that I have all day off for a couple days, or something. I also worry about my stereo being left out in the open when the top is off.

5.) Looking to get some chrome/silver wheels and some 31"-33" tires.

6.) Want to get a brush guard and billet grill, but I need money. I also need to pay for rent and gas, so funds are kinda low, lately.

7.) Looking at getting some clear corners, but they're a little pricey for something that's not really necessary.

8.) I'm going to tint my taillights with NiteShades. I just have to order the stuff.

9.) I'm going to be painting and vinyling parts of the interior when I have the time.

That's about it for now. I'm not a big engine guy, but I wanna work on that, some, later.

What is everyone else working on?

In four years time, I've done the following:

1. new motor longblock kit, spent the next 6 months fixxing everything the shop overlooked.
2. new paint job, removed several dozen hail dents and fixxed rusted tailgate. The cosmetics are taken care of for now. Could use a new coat of paint in a year or two. But the body is fine, that's the key factor.
3. Suspension lift kit, complete poly bushing kit, new tires and rims.
4. Removed factory hardtop, finally found a Skyler top for those cold, rainy days.
5. Added the "Shaker" hood and intake, took about 6 months just to fab that one.
6. Purchased a roll cage and new seats.

Work left to do:

1. install roll cage and seats.
2. restore the frame and suspension parts. No major rust, mostly 20 years of gunk everywhere.
3. Upgrade the interior, remove carpet and install bedliner. I have some Zero Rust that I'm going to try.
4. overhaul the transmission and transfer case. Still original with 200K miles.

Strong possibilty:

1. Replace the 351W H.O. with a 500+ 351C stroker that I have my eye on. I'm kindof an engine freak, always striving for more power!
2. Straight axle swap (SAS) on the front end.
3. Regear to 4.56:1 in both axles.

As you can see, I take my time!!! Rome wasn't built in a day, neither is the "Ultimate Bronco". Plus, I work way too much...

1. Drive my truck until it goes kaput (very close to doing that) or until winter gets here
2. Tear it all down
3. Clean/Fix any body part that needs it
4. Put it all back together
5. Paint it.

Somewhere in between all of this i'm gonna.
1. Build a custom speaker box/console for the front.
2. Herculine Bed
3. New tires 32"? maybe
4. New engine, either a 460 or a 410

Those are the plans for right now. Hopefully I'll get all of them done.

Take in easy on the boost when you run a stroker. I have a 383 (LT1) that has a supercharger. I'd reccomend no more than 6 PSI boost however you dish it, turbo or supercharger. Your longer stroke and fatter crank puts your engine in danger at higher RPM's. I'm talking from experience. I lost my first 383 at 30k. I added my supercharger at 25k. Never use No2 in a stroker.

in 4 years I've done:

1: 3 in body lift
2: rebuilt engine ( .60 over, rv cam, converted to carb, perfomance ignition, snorkel kit, better heads)
3: 33" tires on 15x10 rims

5: custom push guard, chrome dipped
6: destroyed 3 driveshafts (had one custom made with carbon core)
7: shaved fenders
8: added daylighters to pushbar
9: stereo system
10: true dual 3" exaust with home made glass packs
11: dual elec fans
12: complete brake job from booster to all
13: more U-joints than dana makes in 1 day :))
14: MANY MANY custom dents and scratches

want to do:
1. new intake and carb
2. get rearend rebuilt
3: beef up front end
4: lockers
5: herculine interior floor (carpet stays wet too darn long)
6: need seats
7: RE-WIRE
8: Fix rust
9: more engine work
10: need to re-do grill and push guard (chrome is pretty.. but rust sucks)
11: needs steering column
12: SAS
13: find alot of lighters and change that keeps disappearing
14: fix ac components and get heater working (3 winters no heater... bit I have a neato quilt)
