The only body part off of a 73 that I am aware of will fit a 67-72 is the tail gate, and even then the body lines don't line up and it just looks plain odd.

Nope. They won't fit. If you've looked in any resto catalogs (NPD), you'd notice that from '67 to '72 they are the same in the body dept. For '73, they messed 'em up.

  • Interests:I love restoring trucks, old or newer. The oldest I have put back on all four is 1965, the newest basket case is 1993. I have restored more 73 thru 79 than any others. My favorite year is 1979. at one time I had as many as 28 trucks, I have lots less now. If interested I do have access to lots of parts still, 4x4 and otherwise but not too many Sno-fighter Dana-60 Front-ends though. Those were the chosen few from 78-and 79 one-tons and 250's.

I have to agree with some of the other guys......Two different body styles 72 and 73. 73 THRU 79 WORK ON EACH OTHER BUT NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. "YOU WILL HAVE TO GO 72 AND BACK"..........................Wrenchhand from Arkansas
