I have a 97 ford ranger w/the factory cd player which won't work anymore. When I put a cd in it says track 1 like its goin to play then will say cd-er 0001. Would anyone happen to know what that means and how it could be fixed? And if not would anyone know what would be a good cd player to replace the factory one with? Any help will be greatly appreciated thank you.

Hey man, i had a 2001 ranger edge. I changed my cd player and got a Pioneer Cd PLayer. It was the one with The screen Savers on it and it was easy to install and Sounded Great.
