The guys i got my truck from just painted over everything on my truck with spray cans. the "chrome" color they used on the bumper didnt look too bad but now its coming off of them and the rust shows through, i was thinking about painting them since i can't afford to get them rechromed then i thought it'd probably be worth it to use something tough like a spray on truck bedliner. I was thinking about getting some bedliner ordered up in a gray color like what they used on it before or maybe just black, seems like a good idea to me because these ares are always getting scraped or used as a step. i was just wondering what everyone else thought about this or if theyve had any experience with it and how it worked out and maybe what color owuld look better iam gonna eventually get my truck repainted black as it was originally.
