I have a 1978 Ford F150 and I am trying to beef the axles up to 3/4 ton. I am trying to figure out if i can just get everything from the knuckle out and replace it with 3/4 ton stuff or am i going to have to get a whole new axle??

use everything from the knuckle out; caliper bracket hub and rotor and spindle
