[79_Bruiser]

hey everyone,

i just found the forum and did a search but didnt find anything. can somebody walk me through this?

i have a '79 f250 4x4 4speed 351m reg.cab. it wount start. it cranks but nothing. i pulled a spark plug and grounded it and didnt see it spark. i also try'd crank'n it with a timeing light turned on attached to plug wires and nothing. it should be getting fuel because im dumping little bits in their at a time, but the thing hasnt been started for about a year and a half so it might take a few try's for the fuel to get to the engine again.

anyway, anybody got any ideas? im about to go outside with my multi meter or test light and check the harness but its like 20* and snowing... by the way, the cap rotor, wires, and plug are new. and it did run a year and a half ago.

Id check your coil and your ignition, if your not getting any spark, dont worry about dumping fuel down the carb yet b/c it wont even combust.
