Hey everyone, i just found this forum and thought that i would introduce myself. My names Wes Eaton, but i also go by Craige. Ive owned nothing but late 70's fords my whole life. Ive had a 77F250 Hi-Boy, a 78F150, i currently drive a 79 F150 and im trying to build my 79F250. I just recently got a severence package from my job and have enough money to build my 3/4 ton. I know what engine i want to use

and i know that i want to use rockford axels and of course dana pumpkins. A C-6 is always a good bet, especially when you put a little money into them. I guess my question for you guys is this. What kind of T-case and other mods should i try to put into this? Im not by any means a newbie to truck building, but would like any suggestions. Thanks for the help and ill put some pics up soon so you can all see my truck and the progress of my new one. Thanks for all the help.

I would stick with the np 205 that came with your truck, those are bullet proof gear driven. but if you want to get fancy, get sycronised gears, and less weight, you can go with the atlas aluminum transfer. I think its the np 205 in aluminum, and syncros
