My 1986 F-150 4x4 with a 351 dosen't start when you turn the ignition switch. you can still start it from the sylinoid but don't want to do that forever. Replaced starter, battery, sylinoid, ignition switch, and starter switch. Have no idea what to do next please tell me what you think.

Thanks

the prob. has to be between the wire on the sol. and steering column it sounds like a wire on the wire harness is loose or broke on the switch on the column

more than likely it's in the steering column's wiring harness. I had the same problem with my truck about a year back (which is an '85 with a windsor). I had to replace the whole steering column unfortunately. Hope you don't have to do the same...
