[off-road mudrunner]

hey got a small (big) question- bought a 78 3/4 ton with only a cab and axles, no motor tran nothing. figured i would build it to suit me. my question is what engine ,trans , x-case would be good to use. i know i want to put fuel injected into it for better fuel economy and reliability, i also want auto. before i am asked it will be used in the mud, off-road trail riding and sometimes as a driver. i will be putting 40 or bigger tires on it so motor will need to handle that. <)

I would put a 351 or 390 to turn the tires and 3/4 ton axles and for fuel eco. also i would put a c6 tranny and a np 205 transfer case.You could also run dual transfer cases and run a smaller motor.All those parts you can get at a junk yard.
