alright i have an 84 bronco with a 300 cid straight 6, and i havent got it on the highway yet because im only 15 but ive been working on it and its got 31"s but i want to know how fast it goes now, with 33, and with 35s thanks for you help

You're in the wrong forum. You should be over in the sister forum http://www.broncozone.com. the tire size won't make any difference. Changing the tire size will make your speedometer inaccurate unless you change the speedo and/or gearing. Increasing the tire size without a gearing change will make it real doggy off the line. However, putting larger tires on and regearing runs the risk of snapping axles, especially if you put any real stress on them. Generally, if you increase tire size and intend to do any real off roading, you will need to beef up the running gear. The main object is to keep the engine inside the optimum RPM range for the engine, chart from the Bronco Graveyard catalog attached:

well with trucks its not really not how fast with trucks, its more of towing ie "my truck tows a 8000lb trailer up a hill like this / with my 4.9L" but i dont think a a 4.9L could even go up a hill like this / with a 1500lb trailer

ya thanks i guess i was just wondering if any bodey has a ford with this engine 300cid 4.9 staight six, and if the can take it on the high way or past 65 MPH thanks
