TXQUADHUNTER is closest to correct. All of the 351's are considered by Ford to be small blocks because of the 3.5" stroke. The large block size of the 351M, C, and 400 make them literally BIG BLOCKS. Even Ford has used the term "MID ENGINE". The 400 is just a stroked 351M. Same for the 429/460.

All of the Ford engines are capable of producing huge power figures, but nothing beats the "INLINE" design for Torque, and that is what will get you over the hill.

Just did a full tune up and oil change on the old girl, I got a price on a remanufactured engine at neco engines here in manchester NH going to coast me about 2,200 hundred. My truck has about 165,000 and change. (hard miles) I figured I get the motor this summer.

hey, i'm in exeter NH and I can get you a reman 351 for a few hundred cheaper. PM me if interested.

If you want great power than check out ford racing they sell ots of engines. My dad just got a braket racing 351 Windsor that makes 400 horsepower. But if it's cheap that you want this isn't it.

nooooooo dont pay that much you can buy a remanufactered motor for like $1500 for a 302 and about almost $2000 for a 351 google ford crate engines. then they even give you money back if you send the old motor back to them.

hes got a point
