My girlfriends dad just gave me a crashed 93 f250 4wd standard. And i bought a rusty POS 91 f140 4wd auto from him too. Im new to fords and could use some help. I was wondering if the standard tranny will bolt up to teh bell housing of the 302? Thats if the 5.8l in teh f250 isnt damaged from the accident..

And would i need to use the f250 axles?

any transmission from a 351 windsor will bold right up to a 302..same goes for 302 to 351 or 300 straight 6 to 302 and 351 as well...you wont have to swap the f250 axles in to make it work
