Hello all, I am here to discuss a full blown resto on my 73 F- 100 2wd. It came with a 240 6 cyl, that will go in my 66 Bronco. Right now I am down to the cab and bed, all else has been stripped for clean up and powdercoat. My question is this; there are a few items that are riveted to the frame such as coil spring towers front, crossmembers and rear shackle mounts. I was thinking of welding these items to the frame to stiffen it up. Is that a good idea? Has anyone else done that? Thanks
