The radio quits working when i put the truck in drive and even reverse It works in park and neutral.Also the gear indicator shows to be in 2nd gear for drive gear could this be related?

I have a 2002 F150 and my radio did the exact same thing! Not only that the windsheild wipers would not work in drive either...The radio quits working when i put the truck in drive and even reverse It works in park and neutral.Also the gear indicator shows to be in 2nd gear for drive gear could this be related?

Just a guess, but check your alternator.
My old Bronco would lose the radio when I turned on a turn signal, but only after I'd had the headlights and bumper lights on long enough to drain the battery.

check for lose wires with the copper wire showing it could be grounding outThe radio quits working when i put the truck in drive and even reverse It works in park and neutral.Also the gear indicator shows to be in 2nd gear for drive gear could this be related?
