Hi all, I read earlier, and can not find the topic now, about which hose from the heater core goes where on the engine. I hope the person who was asking sees this and it helps.

I have a 1978 F150 with a 302 in it.

My hose coming from the heater core closest to the fender goes to the water pump and the hose next to it goes into the out-let protruding up from the intake just behind the Thermostat housing.

I also was able to start getting heat from my truck by attaching a water hose to the hose going to the top of the block and running water through the heater core to unclog the core by attaching another hose to the core hose that attaches to the water pump. This cleared out the core which had a lot of gunk sitting in it and now keeps the temperature warm in the cab.
