Hello I just joined this forum and also just got a 79 f 150. The steering has some play in it, the guy i got it from says its in the box which is the sector if im correct how do i fix this also what kind of steps can fit this truck like nerf bars of some kind of step it has a 4 in lift and it is kind of hard for some people to get in and out,, thank you in advance,,, michael

On top of your steering box there is a set screw with a locknut crack the nut lose and turn the set screw clockwise with a flat head you might have to do it a few times to get it where you want it.
