Just wanted to say hello to everyone, I currently have a 78 F150 4x4 short bed, it's a daily driver/resto, I live in northern WV and in my area parts for the swb 73 to 79 fords are VERY hard to come by, I paid 700 bucks for my truck and currently have about 1000 invested in it including the truck itself, it's got the 351M in it C6 tranny, nothing too special, has hooker headers on it and true duals mufflers are only 40 dollar Cherry Bomb Turbo IIs, it's going to be getting a set of 36in Buckshot Mudders (free of charge), has a 4in lift, I know where there's a set of tall Moroso valve covers for it I plan on picking up for the price of some new valve cover gaskets, it'll be a work in progress but the value of this truck locally is going to be VERY high because of the short wheel base, every other 73-79 I've seen around here is the long bed, bad thing is, spring shackles are shot, my frame is rusted through, and my bed is shot, back of the cab is rusted through, rockers are starting to rust out on the inside door jam, other than that she's solid as a rock, here's some pics
