So I did some research on my 302 project and I found out the Np435, T18, and T19 all have the same bellhousing mounting patterns. Advanced adapters was no help at all. So does anyone know if the block to bellhousing patterns have changed from 79 to 93? If so when? And where can I find a bellhousing from the late 70's ford trucks that had the 302? I have heard the 250's had 302's??? is that true? Thanks for the help!

If you are talking about the bolt pattern on the back of the block, Bellhousing mounting patterns, on the 260, 289, 302, and 351w are all the same from way back when till the end of their production. The 250 inline 6 is different from what I can remember, but I may be wrong on that one.-----Jack

If you are looking for the cast iron bellhousing they are hard to find. I have one or two but can't remember for sure. I would look for a cast Aluminum one they are pretty easy to find around junkyards and salvage yards. I don't recall any changes that would limit you from using ones from the '60's thru the '80's either. no earlier than '65 ('62-'64 1/2 used a 5 bolt bellhousing pattern)
