Hi im new to the site, actually ive been reading around here for bout a month now and i like the site, had some problems with my truck and found the solutions on the site. anyway my question is is it complicated to put a 4spd in my truck? powerplant is a 351m

I have a 79 4x4 with a 400 that has a t-18 and have no complaints at all. Great for highway because of a long 4th gear, and in first gear you really feel the torque, you can even take off with out giving it any gas. So in my opinion great combo for pulling and highway mileage.

Thanks for the info, thats exactly what i needed to hear. I like to go mudding and things of that nature, also i hate automatics
