Well i took the bed off of my truck, now the lights in the ass end dont work now. they worked finr when i took the bed off. i ground down the frame and attached the grounds to it, still nothing. the only ones that i got working is the running lights and i have the brake lights rigged up. im wanting to rewire from the connector behind the fuel tank to the lights and see if thats what is wrong. I was wondering what wire was what. btw, i have a doner truck. i bought my brothers truck for $800 and im putting his body on my frame. mine is shot, the bed was completly rusted out and my cab is held by 1 bolt, both front mounts are gone literally. if you want to see any pics and have a myspace go to mine i have a ton of pictures. oh while im doing this im putting 3 inches of body lift in

there could be multiple things that happen. it could be a wire like the ground got pinched or broken inside and you may never find it without running wire by wire to see if that is the problem. Test where you grounded it and make sure it is working properly. then if have to just rewire as you go so never have the problem again. there maybe other things people might suggest that maybe easier but this is what came to my mind first.
