i have an 79 f-150 running a 460ci engine. i have an edelbrock 1407 4 bbl carb. i had to clean the carb and the engine as was never taken care of. anyways put it all back together and now the idle seems to stick when you step on gas. driving it holds 20mph without touching the gas pedal. if i feather it a little it will drop again but i made sure nothing is catching or binding and don't see anything. before i call edelbrock tomorrow thought i would ask if anyone has any idea as to what is going on.
