well since this is my first ford i need some help. what kind of front axel is this?
i know the back is a 9 inch i believe. but not sure of the front.

1979 Ford F-150 with a 351M regular Cab Rusted Short Bed.
in neeed of a good Short Bed. Help!!!
I know there is no such thing as a 400M, but mine has a modified CAM.

Check the corners of front of the differential. i believe in the front it should be in the top or bottom right next to the diff. cover. it should say the number for what dana it is. more than likely its a dana 44 in front.
