I just bought 95 F-150 4x4 ext cab.5.8 with the 4 speed auto and 32 in buckshot maxxis mudders on it.It was a 2 owner and has been very well maintaned. It has 210000 miles but runs like a new truck and no leaks.I have been thinking about changing the injects to a after market set.I know from what I have read they are suppose to spray better than stock and help the throtle responce and fuel mileage.I found a set of 21pound injectors from accel.I was wanting to see if anyone else had done a injector swop and what was the turn out.I know the mustang guys do it a lot when they build street motor. My goal it to just leave it stock until it want run no more.I am just triing to get a little better milage out of it with out going in the motor..My next step is I am going to install a set of the E3 dimond split fire plugs. My fuel milage is sitting around 12.5 to 13 miles a gallon right now.But i am not sure how old the plugs that are in it is.It has a new cap and wires.

C-6 with shift kit before the truck would
L&L headers with single chamber flowmasters and turn downs and L&L ladder bars
4in ruff country lift with a 2in body kift.
35x12.50-15 mud tires on 15x10 chrome and black modular rims
cd player,2 amps,2 600watt Sony 10s

Future plans is to level it up .Hate the ass end sitting higher that the front.AND scrap the crappy C-6 for a manual.

Good mileage for a 5.8 .Drop to 31's I bet get solid 13MPG

Avoid the non stock type plugs , Use the Motocraft copper core , Good set 9mm wires (MSD or Ford racing r my pref) And good hipo cap rotor .And bump timing up some. I go till pings and back off. When get running where happy (about 10 12 ) throw a light on it so next time you can do easy. Yes its not going to be anywhere near stock recommended setting .

Spray clean all sensors . Put 300-6 or 460 air intake tube from air box to grill area .Instead for one going under hood edge. ($10 at wreckers ). Avoid those after market sets air intake sets The warm under hood air really has null effects on 302 351.

Keep the stock injectors till you go hipo with motor . You will need fuel regulator to run them . And will not help MPG. They spray in intake runner.Unless MAF truck its batch injection not sequential (like STang is ) . Will see no benefit.

If truck is not MAF equipped . You could do that swap . now that will help performance ,The 351 ecu is hard to find used .

Next free up exhaust be it headers (long tubes best bit pain to run CAts on) Free flowing CAt covertor . or just a split Muffler and bigger or dual exhaust

These tips R common recommended mods for Fords . I'm on 10 different sites .

But I do them myself . I've had 20 plus F series and broncos. I did get 14 + MPG running on flat at 55MPG out west . One hill and 13MPG

Good luck

Thanks for the help.I am kinda dum whenit comes to this truck. This my first one with fuel injetion.I have always had a carb to play with.I did put the E3 plugs in I have seen noticable change in fuel milage. It has new 8mm wires on it and it is about to have a new cap and button.I usely run a 150 miles on the front tank and it is sitting at a 1/4 tank then i feel it up.I changed the plugs on a half a tank at a 1/4 i was sitting at 166miles.A 15 mile improvement. So Going to check it again once i fill it up and run it down again. The old plugs that came out look great but didnt know how long they been there. The exhaust is true dual and no cat.Just the little cross over pipe between tehm for teh O2 sencer.Has 18 in glass packs and tips.I am going to put 12 inch on it. I want headers but git to find a set that will hook up to all that none sence on the passenger side of the motor.Just from the plug changs I am figured up I am getting 12.7 mpg.I believe it will be better with hole tank to run on the plugs.Git to change the oil and tranns this week or weekend.Trans fluids look nasty but it shifts firm and good.
What is a (MAF truck)?I am dumd when it comes to the fuel injection lengo.I thought about the injector swap maybe if it would be a benefit. What do you mean by keep teh stock injector till I go hipo with teh motor? Thanks again for all the help.

Most all newer ride have a large sensor on air box in intake tube. Way better control of fuel mixture.

On the F15o the big deal is that instead of batch injection (4 injectors wired together) the MAF equipped truck has a wire for each injector (Sequential ) Like the Mustang's. I went from 13MPG on a 302 F150 to 15 + just swapping in MAF stuff.

Your may have it but the MAF equipped 351 F150 in 95 seemed to be a California item for the most part . The 302 can be easily found and all wiring same as your truck . Just need to get ecu ( engine computer) to match truck drive train. The 351 will run fine till higher RPMs(leansOut)
on the 302 ecu.
Good luck any questions just ask

I was looking at Dunne-Rite performance and they have the hole kit for around 700$ But I was also looking at there site and it looks they are saying I need a trans controller to.To controlle my shifts points in my damn E4OD.Did you have to do any thing to your tranny when you changed yours?Damn I hate auto's.Should be more Stifts made from the factory.
