In cold weather my 2005 F150 STX 4X4 4.6 V8 when starting to drive the auto trans shifts up very fast at low speed < 30 MPH and when stopping the auto trans bucks like it won't disengage.
One time it stalled the motor when stopping. Any help out there with this problem ????? Thank you for any info.

The Ford Dealer said there is a Tech Advisory from Ford about the F150 automatic trans. The problem is plastic check balls that become worn and cause the trans to
shift at improper times. Get it fixed on warranty my truck is not 2005 thur 2010 Models .
