Hi,

I tried to start my truck on a cold morning and the battery was getting low, (I don't have electricity and the heater wasn't plugged in) so I hooked up my other car to give it some help. I finally am getting it to start and then all of the sudden the ignition sticks in the crank position. It continued to crank for maybe 30-60 seconds before I pushed on the brakes and was able to turn the switch off. I then tried to start it again but whereas normally the ignition, when pushed to the crank position, springs back when you let go, now it will just sit there in the crank position and won't crank at all. I don't recall if the glow plug warning comes on or not, but I think the electricity worked before I took it all apart. The guy at O'reilly's told me it could be either the ignition key switch or the ignition actuator. I switched the ignition key switch and it still didn't work. I didn't replace the actuator yet but I stripped it down' enough to get a good look at it, and it looks good. I would appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Kelly
