I have a 1986 HD F250 with a front axle issue. My center joint was bad and we ended up replacing it last month (it was just wore out but still fuctional). When we repaired this issue we made shure that the splines were in the same spot and so forth during this repair/reassembly. Yesterday I went to move the truck (not towing or pulling anything) while in 4x4 and the center joint literally broke on me and it took out the slip yoke on the axle shaft side. Anyone have a suggestion how to stop this from happening? BTW I need to find the slip yoke to replace the broken part so if anybody knows where I can find one for a cheap price let me know.
