79 ford f250 truck bed swap

i have a 79 ford f250 the bed is pretty bad shape wanting to know if a 77 bed would fit i heard it wouldnt

If it doesn't bolt up just drill new holes in the bed.

It is the same from f250 to f250, the f150 has a narrower frame than the f250 and then you would need to drill new holes in the bed.

I agree it would fit, but need some modifications to perfectly fit the bed.
