JUST BOUGHT A 89 BRONKO AND WAS MESSIN WITH THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE SHIFTER AND HERD SOME GRINDING. WHEN I WHENT BACK INTO 2 WHEEL DRIVE I LOST ALL GEARS IN THE TRANNY( WONT EVEN STAY IN PARK.

are you sure it is all of the waty in 2wd and not just nuetral try putting the trans in nuetral and then shift to 2wd hope it works out
