hey guys,
i have a 81 ford f-150 spring sprung 4x4 with the TTB of death. i have some questions:
1. what axle would slide best under the springs?
2. are the radius arms the same and mounted in the same place?
3. is there anything that will need to be mounted except the panhard bar?

i know that i have to mount the pan hard bar but the rest of the stuff seems the same size and in roughly the same location.
thank everyone

Just so happens I am doing the same thing with my 94 Bronco. From what I understand we can pretty much slide a Dana44 from a 78 or 79 Bronco right in there. I was looking at Skyjacker lifts and even with the 9" lift for 79 Boncos it doesn't say you need new radius arms, you just have to put on some caster sometin or ruther. This will compinsate for the angle the front end will be in. If you have a couple extra buck $500.00 or so you can go to James Duff and get some extended radius arms that fit those years. Dont take all this for gospel I am still finding this stuff out. Good Luck

Check out FullSizeBronco.com, there is a whole section in the forums dedicated to solid axle swaps. Make sure you use search FIRST before you ask questions, or they may beat you up [-X .
