Hi all,
I have an 87 Bronco II with a 2.9l v6, after I drive for a while and park it I find coolent under the front of the engine. I can't see where its coming from, but I think its the water pump, the hoses look ok. The engine has 98k on it, is this about when a water pump goes out? Is there anything else that can leak down there?
If I replace the water pump anyone have a recomendation for a replacement?

Thanks,
zim

Well there are many things that can leak down there. Try and get a cooling system pressure test some where. (it shouldn't cost you much call around) Otherwise you might be wastin alot of time guessing whats leaking. The test will force it to leak even when its cold and ez to look at. If you end up tryin a waterpump just buy a name brand new one.(I don't think they even sell rebuilt anymore). Good Luck! :)
