I have an 88 fs bronco ,tranny bell housing broke but i have a 2wd aod .
I cannot get it to shift out of first. But reverse ,first, nuetral ,park everything works
has to be electrical right?

sorry dude. it does not have to be an electrical problem. it very well could be mechanical. do a stall test to quickly check the condition of the torque convertor. check fluid level and condition of your fluid, see if it smells normal and if it feels okay(not gritty) and that it is of normal color(red). You might have some burned clutches. So definitelly check the fluid condition. Reply if you need any more help!

p.s. sure it's 2wd? i didn't realize bronco's came in 2wd, only in 4wd...
