crewcabs are pretty high in price right now. Most ive seen restored go for about 15k. If its a high boy (5 leafs in frt from factory) 6500 might be close. Keep in mind the only parts that a diff from std cabs are the rear doors and the cab. So if these are past repair, Your gonna have trouble finding them. If its not a highboy Id say its too muchThere's a local lady who's been trying to sell this truck for over a year now. It's a '79 F-350 SRW SuperCab, 460ci, 4x4 (Dana 60 front), factory air. It's not immaculate, by any means -- a little surface rust; cab corners are bondo'ed; front quarter panels are a little boogered up from running oversized tires w/ too little lift (something like 2" body lift up front only). Mechanically pretty solid. It is a rare truck; it runs good; factory air works; it's still driven a little bit on a regular basis. She's asking $6500, and since she hasn't sold it yet (my boss offered her $3500 and it just ticked her off), she's got to be pretty firm on it. It it really worth that? Or is she smoking something funny (not that there's anything wrong with that)? I know it's worth what you'll pay for it... but, that seems steep to me.

We have some of those down here in South Texas. We don't have the rust some of ya'll have elsewhere. They have to be in "perfect" shape to bring that kind of cash here! $3500 i would be fare. There's a local lady who's been trying to sell this truck for over a year now.
