im all but knew to anything domestic and muscled up. im actually a import guy but i find myself look doing the barrel of a 75 ford pickup with a 400 ci v8 from a 77 in it. im assuming its fro ma f250 or 150. either or but i wanna know if these motors of notorious for anything. some jerk off goomba was telling me the 2 valve heads are prone to roasting motors due to dropping valves into the engine. im wondering if hes jsut talking crap to buy the truck out from under me or if its true and if so what can be done. any help or being pointed in the right direction would be so much.

if its a 400 there a power house. anything will drop a valve never had a problem. cheap thermostat came apart and blew up my 351 though. can't go wrong with the 400, the 351 ahhh there a dime a dozen and where economical work horse replacement for the 400 and cleveland.
