my problem is my brake lights dont work...all the bulbs and fuses are ok,also when i turn on the 4-way flashers on only the right light lights up on the dash,but all lights are flashing...ive replaced the brake light switch....also tested new switch...a signal is coming out of the switch...traced the wire as far as i could...seems ok...where do I look now?

Beleive it or not I have solved the problem...on a whim I replaced the multii funtion switch (aka directional switch)with a used on I had lying around after my last stearing col. r&r...anyway...the wiring diagram says the system goes through this unit...WHO KNEW...but all is well
