Im posting this for my brother: He has an 03 Ford F350 with the 7.3 powerstroke diesel 4x4 with a hypertech programmer. The programmer was installed about 10k ago and now the transmission is slipping! The truck was checked over by a ford dealer at about 80k (due to it being stolen for about 3 hours) and the thieves took the programmer without de tuning the truck. (Talk about bad luck). The truck was never abused before they took it and the ford dealer looked EVERYTHING over and said it checked out. But since the Ford dealer had it about a month ago, the tranny started slipping BAD and when put into reverse, you have to put it in drive and then reverse to get it to go into reverse. Any ideas on what is wrong?
Also my neighbor has an 05 ford F250 with the 6.0 and an automatic and he is having trouble with it starting then dying. he put an EGR delete kit in it and replaced all the injectors. And the truck is not throwing any codes on a scanner. Any ideas?
