When a slip yoke needs to be replaced do I need to replace the whole shaft or just the female section. This is an 83 bronco. Also how do I get the shaft apart?

You can get a bran new drive shaft from Jef's Bronco graveyard for 169.00.

Good luck,

There is a special coating you can have a driveline company put on the splines which takes up the slop. Its cheap and easy. Mine has lasted years with no problems.
Wheel it like you stole it!
