I would like to update the steering linkage on my 77' f150. I don't know if I need to change the steering box in order to use the linkage from the 78-79 trucks. Could anyone shed some light on this for me.

As far as I know everything would be interchangable as long as you do not have king pins, need spindles with ball joints.
GOT MUD?

Thanks for the info, I had another 77' that I changed over but had a complete system out of a 78' bronco so I wasn't worried about the gear box. It does not have king pins. If anyone has any more info on it I would appreciate it.
