Hi everyone, this is my first time on this forum. I bought a 74 f250 about a month ago so that is what brings me to this forum, I unfortunatly bought a bunch of problems along with the truck, when I got it it ran terrific but unfortunatly started blowing blue smoke from the tailpipes a day later, I did compression tests and found one cylinder at 20lbs, so I found a 67 352 and yanked the 360 out and put the 352 in it. It now runs awesome and doesnt smoke at all. So I moved on to the next problem, the power steering, I had 2 blown lines on it, I ordered all the new ones today so I am gonna be hooking them back up soon, is there anything different that I have to do after the new lines are on than I would normally do on a regular P/S setup? The next thing I have to do is find transfer case and automatic on the column shift linkage, when the cab rotted out, someone took the linkages off, I guess it wouldnt stay in gear anymore, so they put a cable floor shifter in and used a bungie cord to hold it in 2wd!! LOL Anyway, those are just a few of the challenges I am up for with this truck, I don't know what I was thinking when I bought this thing, it is ugly, dirty and big, but I like it. Jack
