is there any way to tell what lift i have on this truck?
I just want to know if it is 2, 3, 4, 5 inch lift. what is
the easiest way to tell? the previous owner seems
clueless.

I know there is no such thing as a 400M, but mine has a modified CAM.

well it has 3 inch body lift.
38.5 inch tires by 15
i will have to get back to you on the measure from frame
to level surface. truck is at my friends shop right now.

By looking at your picture, I would think it would be a 5.5". Not looking at the body lift. What size tires are on the truck? Measure from the bottom of the frame down on level surface where the front bumper is mounted and let me know.
i think i have a 3 or 4" lift on my '77 but im not sure i have 33's on it and it's about 20". does that sound right?
