my cross members seem a bit rusty. can i just rebuild my own
and bolt them on or do i have to get a doner truck to take them
from. i do not see anyone making replacements at all on line
for my old 79.

What are my options.

Thanks.

I know there is no such thing as a 400M, but mine has a modified CAM.

Same problem on my '79, previous owner used it on farm as a fertilizer truck. I used a wire rotary brush on end of drill to clean it up. You might want to sand blast it, probably be faster. If its too far gone you would probably have to fabricate your own.
