How hard is it to replace the turn signal cam? Not the whole assembly, but just the plastic/nylon part that costs around $10 to $15? The wires that feed thru the tilt wheel joint, can they be removed from the old broken cam and attached to the new one easily?

All these parts have plugs . To help with steering wheel removal. Shouldn't be to bad. remove covers and go at it.
