I have a 85 bronco with the 351w and c6. After some fussing and cussing what i have found is when the head light switch is on. The charging system is grounded. I been chasing the short for a while. Before i messed with anyrhing the charging system was always going to ground all the time. The battery would be dead after 3 days of no running it. I have managed to get to only do it with the park lights and head lights on. I have unpluged everything under the dash. I pulled the instrument cluster out. Last time i had a short it was the igintion switch under the dash. I have replaced it and the headlight. Any ideas any body?
